UPDATE: As of June 16th, San Miguel County is maintaining the safe-at-home standard in line with the State of Colorado guidelines at least until July 1st. With this order in place, some Lone Cone Library staff are able to  work inside the library, but we are not yet able to be open to the public. Due to this fact, we are offering curb side services to our patrons.
The way this works is patrons can search our catalog on this website (under the My Library tab on the homepage) and any materials that are available from our collection are available to our patrons.  We cannot borrow from other libraries at this time, the courier service we use is still not operating.

You can call us at (970) 327-4833 or email staff@loneconelibrary.org to order the materials you wish to check out. Be sure to leave your name and a phone number and outline the items you wish to check out.  Library staff will contact you and will place your items outside the front entrance in a pick-up bin with your initials on the bag. This service is available on Tuesday and Thursday and we leave the items in this location between noon and 4pm on those days.

Our online resources will still be available, please call if you are having any issues accessing your digital accounts.

WiFi will still be available in the library parking lot from 7 a.m.-10 p.m. for patrons that have their own devices.

Stay well and thank you for your patience while we work through the best way to open our facility safely.  We deeply regret having to make these decisions, but feel it our duty to comply with recommendations of our health department.
