Lone Cone Library

Did you know?!

Did you know that the Lone Cone Library has purchased 12 acres of land at the south end of Pine St? This land will be the site of the New Lone Cone Library Project!

The New Lone Cone Library Project will bring a myriad of new opportunities to support and nurture our growing community. The project will include community meeting space, for small or large events, an expanded library of materials available for all ages, quiet computer work stations, a specially dedicated kids area, a beautiful open space complete with walking paths and benches, and so much more! This flourishing community has vastly outgrown the current library. We aim to fill a void in this community by expanding to meet the new needs of the diverse and dynamic demographic.

A library is so much more than a room filled with books. It’s a safe space for all ages. It’s education, fun and games, intellectual stimulation, a place to meet other members of the community, a place to connect and plugin, a welcome place for tourists to use the free internet, and a place that cultivates an attitude of opportunity and forward thinking.

Please join us in supporting this vital part of the community!

You can help by endorsing this project to your friends and neighbors, by volunteering, and by donating/voting YES on the fall ballot in favor of the new library!
